Hennessy celebrated the anniversary of one of its most famous brands with the release of unique designer bottles. The world-famous Hennessy X.O was created back in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy and the cognac master Emile Fillioux. It was originally launched in the United States, and then in Asia (Shanghai and Hong Kong) in 1872.
The eighth-generation blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde commented:

“Hennessy X.O Cognac is timeless. The idea with which it was created does not obey fashion and modern trends.”

For this outstanding date, the company turned to architect Frank Gary to reimagine the bottle concept. Each of the 150 limited edition bottles (Masterpiece) will be sold with an architect’s signature for £ 15,000 a bottle. And the second series, for the mass market, which was also created by Frank Gary, will be available for purchase in chain stores at a price of £ 178 a bottle.
