Eurostat published the latest alcohol price comparison in Europe.

The price indices for alcoholic beverages of the European Union in 2018 published and available on the organization’s website.

According to that data, the highest prices noted in:

  • Finland – 182% of the average for the European Union
  • Ireland – 177%
  • Sweden – 152%,
  • Greece – 133%,
  • Great Britain – 129%,
  • Estonia – 126%,
  • Denmark – 124%.

The lowest prices in 2018 were at:

  • Bulgaria and Romania – 74%,
  • Hungary – 77% of the average.
