Kyiv Whisky Festival is a two-day event in the capital of Ukraine dedicated to promoting and celebrating the culture and philosophy of whisky consumption. It serves as a platform for professionals in the industry as well as enthusiasts of this beverage.
The main goal of the event is to create a unique space where attendees can not only enjoy whisky but also expand their knowledge about it. Various types of whisky, including limited and exclusive varieties, are presented here, along with special zones for tasting and learning.
Additionally, Kyiv Whisky organizes charitable initiatives and provides opportunities to explore the art of crafting whisky-based cocktails.
The event aims not only to develop the industry in Ukraine but also to foster interest in whisky, its history, and culture, while promoting interaction among participants.
What to Expect:
– Two Days of Whisky Festival: Two days filled not only with the pleasure of tasting but also the opportunity to savor the exquisite aftertaste. It’s exactly what a true whisky connoisseur needs.
– Two Professional Degustation Rooms: These rooms offer visitors first-class tastings of renowned and exclusive releases for experts and sommeliers, aiming to expand their taste experience and finally get acquainted with whisky. Duration – 50 minutes. Twelve professional tastings will be held throughout the day. Capacity: 100 participants per tasting.
– Two Speed Degustation Rooms: Choose a room for speed tastings to escape from the world, and during this time, you will enjoy the full range of impressions and variety of whiskies in express format. Duration – 30 minutes, enjoyment – like for a lifetime. Eighteen speed tastings will be held throughout the day. Capacity: 40 participants per tasting.
– Charitable Mission: Kyiv Whisky Festival, organized by Hoteliero, includes charitable support for the Superhumans Center. Fifty percent of ticket proceeds and 100% of the festival’s interactive activities go towards supporting the center, which helps those affected by war.
– Cocktails Zone: The cocktails zone at Kyiv Whisky Festival features some of the best bars in our country. You’ll be able to try a variety of flavor combinations based on whisky, chat with industry bar masters, and even learn the recipe for a new favorite cocktail for your home bar.
– Whisky Zone: In the whisky zone covering an area of 2000 sq. m., you’ll find sophistication, style, and taste. The Whisky Zone will feature stands with whiskies from foreign producers, where you can purchase a tasting sample at each one. The cost of one sample is from 60 UAH. Here you’ll discover the world of over 100 whisky brands, uncovering their characteristics, character, and finding the one that will stay with you forever and accompany the important moments of your life.
– Premium Degustation Room: If KWF took place in different centuries, then in the Premium Tasting Room you could meet such great whisky enthusiasts as Remarque, Charles Bukowski, or Edgar Poe, because they felt this drink with their hearts. Here we will be able to reminisce together that in the distant year of 2024, we visited exclusive tastings where very rare and premium whisky samples were presented.
